Our team at WrapIt wants our customers to get a long life out of their vehicle wrap. When our wraps are complete each one of our customers receives a wrap care print out for their reference.

The life of your wrap is dependent on the quality of the material used along with the printing and installation process. Most vehicle wraps are estimated to last between 5 and 7 years. WrapIt only uses top of the line materials, printers and professional installation, we have seen many wraps outlast vehicles we’ve installed on, meaning when installed and cared for, wraps can last a lot longer.

At WrapIt, vinyl installation is what sets us above the rest! Our 3M certified installers have years of experience in vinyl wraps. We take all elements into consideration to provide a final seamless result for our customers.

The timeframe of your wrap is dependent on the size of the job. A full vehicle wrap is generally between 2 to 4 business days. Our team at WrapIt keeps our customers informed, part of our process is letting you know the timeframe for your vinyl wrap

Vinyl wraps are easily removed by a professional. Having the proper tools and experience makes for a simple and quick process that will not cause any damage to your paint under the wrap.

When your vehicle wrap has been applied and maintained as well as removed according to the vinyl brands instructions by a professional, you should not see any damage to your original OEM paint.

For your safety and proper vision within your vehicle, wraps are only applied on the rear and rear sides of your windows. Our design and production team will ensure that any window graphics are printed with a perforated vinyl so you still have the capability to still see through.

Defects such as deep scratches and chips on your vehicles paint will become more obvious once the vinyl wrap has been installed. We also would like our customers to know that removing a vinyl wrap on a damaged surface could cause the surrounding paint to pull off with your wrap as well.

Vehicle wrap vinyl only adheres to OEM paint, or paint that is in good condition. Problem areas may seem small, but installing a vinyl wrap over the damaged areas has the potential to create even more problems.

Maintaining your vehicle wrap by washing it on a regular basis or whenever your vehicle looks dirty is essential!
To wash your new vehicle wrap, use the following steps:

    1. Rinse with water using a wet sponge or soft cloth.
    2.  Mix water and a gentle cleaner together.
    3. Clean your wrap starting at the top of your vehicle and work your way down.
    4. Rinse again with clean water.
    5. Allow your wrap to air dry, or you can dry it with a microfiber cloth.

You can use a carwash with your new vinyl wrap; however, the carwash does need to be a touchless system. Brushes in car washes can cause damage to your wrap such as scratching and lifting of the edges.

Keep the pressure below 2000 psi and temperature below 80 degrees Celsius. Your spray nozzle must have a 40-degree wide spray pattern and be held at least one foot away at a 90 degree angle to your vehicle wrap.

If you have a difficult substance such as tree sap on your vinyl wrap, soak them with hot soapy water for several minutes. Once the substance has been softened, rinse the spot thoroughly and dry it completely. Do not use any scrubbing or abrasive tools on your contaminates, this could scratch the film.

If gasoline is spilled on your vinyl wrap, wipe the gasoline off immediately to avoid degrading the vinyl and the adhesive. When you can, wash your vinyl wrap with hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
