WrapIt factors in all the components of your vehicle and new wrap design as we build out your custom vinyl wrap price. Upgrades, specialty vinyl installation, as well as vehicle make and model, play a part in the difficulty level of your vinyl wrap installation and final cost.
Each vehicle wrap project is unique, and as a result, the price of each vinyl wrap project is also unique. WrapIt bases each estimate on the amount of vinyl used, and the difficulty of the installation. These are the key details required to create your vinyl wrap price.
In order to gather the square footage and to be able to provide you with a concept of your vehicle, your vinyl wrap professional will ask for your vehicle's year, make and model
Your color selection can play a big part in the price of your wrap. For example, a material with a chrome finish costs more than a flat gloss red. If you would prefer a custom design, WrapIt provides this service at no cost to you.
The amount of vinyl used in the project plays a big part in the final cost of a vehicle wrap. Total top to bottom coverage will cost more than covering just the lower panels or hood and trunk, or stripes. Defects such as deep scratches and chips on your vehicles paint will become more obvious once the vinyl wrap has been installed. We also would like our customers to know that removing a vinyl wrap on a damaged surface could cause the surrounding paint to pull off with your wrap as well.
Vehicle wrap vinyl only adheres to OEM paint, or paint that is in good condition. Problem areas may seem small, but installing a vinyl wrap over the damaged areas has the potential to create even more problems.
Maintaining your vehicle wrap by washing it on a regular basis or whenever your vehicle looks dirty is essential!
To wash your new vehicle wrap, use the following steps:
You can use a car wrap with your new vinyl wrap; however, the carwash does need to be a touchless system. Brushes in car washes can cause damage to your wrap such as scratching and lifting of the edges.
Keep the pressure below 2000 psi and temperature below 80 degrees Celsius. Your spray nozzle must have a 40-degree wide spray pattern and be held at least one foot away at a 90 degree angle to your vehicle wrap.
If you have a difficult substance such as tree sap on your vinyl wrap, soak them with hot soapy water for several minutes. Once the substance has been softened, rinse the spot thoroughly and dry it completely. Do not use any scrubbing or abrasive tools on your contaminates, this could scratch the film.
If gasoline is spilled on your vinyl wrap, wipe the gasoline off immediately to avoid degrading the vinyl and the adhesive. When you can, wash your vinyl wrap with hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
A vinyl vehicle wrap is a film installed on your vehicle. Vehicle wraps offer a protective layer to your current paint and can be a single selected color, a custom design or a pattern of your choice. WrapIt’s in house design team will take your ideas and provide a graphic design for your vehicle to your specific liking. Once you have given your approval on the design, color or pattern we complete the installation on your vehicle.
