Vinyl Production Manager

WrapIt is seeking an experienced Vinyl Production Manager to oversee the production of our vinyl products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the printing and cutting processes, ensuring that all products are produced efficiently and accurately. The Vinyl Production Manager will be responsible for taking the digital design files and setting them up for print and cut, working with various printers and software to ensure high-quality products are produced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production process from start to finish, including the printing and cutting of vinyl products.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that all designs are set up correctly for print and cut.
  • Manage and maintain all printing and cutting equipment, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot any printing or cutting issues that arise during the production process.
  • Ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage the production schedule, ensuring that all orders are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and order inventory.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Weeding and masking.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in vinyl production, with knowledge of printing and cutting processes.
  • Experience with Sia Flexi Print, HP printers, and Roland 640 is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Chilliwack-based Wrap & Decal company is seeking to hire experienced Vinyl Installers who are interested in developing a career in this niche industry to join our quickly growing, friendly, and cultivating work environment full time, Monday to Friday.  Contract installation work is also available. 

Qualified applicants must have experience and knowledge in related industries, must have experience installing all types of vinyl, including full and partial vehicle wraps, box trucks and trailers, golf carts, windows, floors, walls, brick, etc, familiar and comfortable handling material up to 60″ wide, conformable or calendered material, air release, and non-air release, and handling small and large masked vinyl for transfer decals with a strong willingness and ability to learn. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in vehicle graphic installation – a portfolio of your work is ideal.
• Product knowledge of different types of vinyl and how they react to install
• Daily use of time management skills and meet deadlines
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• 3M or Avery certification an asset
• Previous experience with PPF an added bonus
