Chilliwack-based Wrap & Decal company is seeking to hire experienced Vinyl Graphics Installers who are interested in developing a career in this niche industry to join our quickly growing, friendly, and cultivating work environment full time, Monday to Friday.  Contract installation work is also available. 

 Qualified applicants must have experience and knowledge in related industries, must have experience installing all types of vinyl, including full and partial vehicle wraps, box trucks and trailers, golf carts, windows, floors, walls, brick, etc, familiar and comfortable handling material up to 60″ wide, conformable or calendered material, air release, and non-air release, and handling small and large masked vinyl for transfer decals with a strong willingness and ability to learn. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in vehicle graphic installation – a portfolio of your work is ideal.
• Product knowledge of different types of vinyl and how they react to install
• Daily use of time management skills and meet deadlines
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• 3M or Avery certification an asset
• Previous experience with PPF an added bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with our customers
  • Increase sales by offering add on and complementary products
  • Build customer base through calls, emails, and online marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their projects and find products that best suit their needs
  • Project tracking from lead through concept, quoting, design and production. 
  • Coordinate with the design team, production team, and install team to have customer projects completed through all stages of the job. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and prepare customers for expectations of each job. 
  • Perform administrative and follow up duties such as: ensuring install quotes and payments are processed and completed accurately, customer files are created and maintained, regular follow up with customers is completed to ensure WRAPIT has provided the best customer experience

Chilliwack-based Wrap & Decal company looking for a full-time experienced Vinyl Production Technician to join our quickly growing, friendly and cultivating work environment Full time, Monday to Friday.

The individual will work with the graphics manager and other team members by utilizing plotters, printers, and laminators to produce various types of vinyl products, including weeding, masking, cutting, application, and assistance with the installation of vehicle wraps and decals when required.

The individual must have experience and knowledge in related industries, must be familiar and comfortable with Corel Draw / Adobe Illustrator & Windows PC with a strong willingness and ability to learn.

The ideal candidate also has experience converting digital designs into print and plot-ready files, experience with HP Latex, as well as a thorough understanding of different types of vinyl. Experience with installation is a plus.

  • Convert provided design files to scaled, cropped, print, and plot-ready files.
  • Send files to the HP printer and/or plotter.
  • Load/unload printer with appropriate vinyl for each job
  • Laminate, Plot, Weed, apply pre-mask, Trim, Label, and Prepare each job.
  • Monitor workflow, stock, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail.
  • Participate in regular production meetings.
  • Track and re-order inventory as needed.
  • Keep a clean and tidy environment, including taking out garbages.
